Gobi's Story
Gobi is thriving and has found her
FOREVER HOME!!
Gobi was rescued from a high kill shelter, and is just the sweetest girl ever. She was spayed, vaccinated and tested heartworm negative. Unfortunately, Gobi decided to dig out of the fenced yard we had her in and was injured over night. The injury to her leg was so extensive that she had to be put on antibiotics for nearly 1 week before she could have surgery for her leg. Unfortunately, her leg was so badly mangled that the best course of action was to amputate. The injury was to the lower leg, so it was not necessary to remove the entire leg, which makes her recovery a little bit easier, but she still has a ways to go.
These are pictures of her before her accident.. you can see how absolutely sweet she is!
